Supermarket freezers in Belgium and Sweden hit by cyber-attack

Dozens of supermarkets across Belgium, Sweden, Ireland, and Luxembourg experienced a coordinated cyber-attack that sabotaged refrigeration systems, forcing stores to discard millions of euros worth of perishable food. Attackers remotely raised freezer temperatures to unsafe levels (50°C/122°F), causing significant inventory losses and operational disruptions at major chains including Delhaize, ICA, Coop, and SuperValu.
