George Floyd-era police watchdog chair charged with selling name to inmate who vowed to 'blow down' witness

Hassan Bennett, chair of Philadelphia's police watchdog commission formed after George Floyd's death, has been charged with selling a witness's name and unredacted arrest report to a prison inmate who threatened to intimidate the witness in an attempted murder case. Bennett allegedly received $500 for the documents, which were then distributed to intimidate the witness into not testifying.
